About Institution

The Institute campus is about 8 Km from the bus-stand and about 10 Km from the railway station. Hassan (known as poor man’s Ooty) is located on the National Highway (NH - 48)of Bangalore – Mangalore and about 185 Km from Bangalore. It is a business center and is well known for its world famous Hoysala architecture and temples of Belur, Halebeedu, monolithic statue of Bahubali at Shravanabelagola. INSAT – Master Control Facility of ISRO is located in the outskirts of Hassan city.

NDRK Institute of Technology was during the year 2009, in the name of Yagachi Institute of technology, is affiliated to VTU, Belgaum, is approved by the Governament of Karnataka and is recognised by AICTE, New Delhi. The institute possesses good infrastructure and faculty. Many innovative practices like faculty appraisal system, faculty training programmes, research council and departmental advisory bodies are in existence at the Institute that have added more value to the education that is being imparted. The ambient and opportunities are provided not only through the formal courses in the class rooms but also through interactions with technical professionals and research scholars in the society.
