The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B), has bagged the top spot in central Asia in the Eduniversal 2015-16 Best Masters Ranking for three of its programmes - two-year postgraduate in management (PGP), one-year postgraduate programme in public policy and management (PGPPM), one-year fulltime residential Executive Postgraduate Programme (EPGP).
Paris-based Eduniversal, the international ranking agency specializing in higher education, released its global annual ranking.
Ishwar Murthy , dean faculty of IIM-Bangalore, said: "The global ranking highlights the academic excellence of IIM-B's programmes. We have renewed our presence as the top management school in central Asia, having been recognized as the number one business school in this zone."
The Eduniversal ranking is often used by students and companies to determine the quality of an institution, its programmes and graduates. Each year, this ranking evaluates over 12,000 postgraduate programmes. The final ranking is determined through a global survey of 5,000 international recruiters, 800,000 students and over 10,000 representatives from 1,000 academic institutions in 154 countries.
