Study Group is a provider of specialised educational programmes as schools, colleges and placements for international students, it has announced two new partnerships in the US, as well as the launch of a new pathway at one of its existing pathway centres, as the company strives to further its reach in North America.
The two new pathways at City College of New York and Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi bring Study Group’s US partnerships to 10. At TAMU-CC, the provider will launch an on-campus International StudyCentre in January 2017 to prepare international students for degree level study at the university.
Citing Study Group’s “long and successful” track record of working with international students, TAMU-CC’s provost, Kelly Quintanilla, said the pathway “will help international students effectively integrate into our university community and successfully complete their degrees in an optimal timeframe”.
Meanwhile, Study Group will work with CCNY to increase the college’s international admissions, beginning with the January 2017 intake.
And building on its existing partnership with the University of Vermont, Study Group will launch a new pre-master’s pathway, which will enable international students to progress to one of six master’s courses at the university’s College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences.
David Leigh, the group’s CEO, noted that the US is the world’s most popular destination for international students.
“These students come to benefit from a world-class education and, in turn, US institutions benefit socially, culturally and economically from their presence,” he added.
“These institutions recognise the value of an internationally diverse campus, and stand to benefit as we enable more students to access their degree programmes.”
