In 1837 Fr.Basil Moreau, the Founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross envisioned education as the main weapon of empowering the young for a better and brighter world and to uplift the broken society of France. He prepared men and women religious, who wanted to see the world as he saw it, developed and empowered. To end this, he founded a congregation of Brothers to touch Formal and Non-formal education, Priests to do pastoral ministry and Marianite Sisters to do educational and domestic ministry. Mission

Our mission is to be in a prominent position in educating the students in their formative period. As a Catholic school our purpose is to evangelize and to educate in true Christian faith, firm values and high ideals to the student community, respecting their religious sentiments and freedom of conscience. The students should be molded to face the challenges of the modern world in the best possible way without ruining their character. Academic achievement should always be in the forefront of all activities of the students. The young minds should understand that God has a mission for everyone in this world. This is achieved through continual improvement in designing, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the curriculum, Co-curriculum and extra-curriculum along with faculty development programmes. We adopt high quality practical oriented teaching and learning system to enhance the achievement of the students.
