About Institution

NSS Nemmara College was established by the Nair Service Society, a great Social Organisation. The foundation stone for the college was laid by Padmabhooshan Mannathu Padmanabhan (late) on 28th February 1966. The college started functioning in 1967. The college has been catering to the educational needs of the rural population ever since its inception. A recent landmark in the history of its achievements is the accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of UGC at the B+ level in the year 2006-07.
