About Institution

Established in 1994, Padmashree Dr.Vithalrao Vikhe Patil foundation’s College of Pharmacy is affiliated to the University of Pune and approved by AICTE New Delhi. The institute has also been approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Vision

xactly 100 years ago a great visionary was born deep into the heartland of Maharashtra, the pioneer of cooperative movement was bestowed, Padmashree for his contribution to the community he belonged to. He established the first sugar factory at Pravaranagar for uplifting socio-economic condition of the farmers.
Towards the fulfillment of the vision of the great son of the soil, a mission of educational institutions was set up in Ahmednagar, Pune and Nashik District. Padamsahri Dr.Vithalrao Vikhe Patil foundation is one of such educational trust.
His son Hon. Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil (Padmabhushan awardee) , the “Karma Yogi” continuous noble cause. Students from across India come to seek Knowledge and shape their careers in the learning institutions created by the foundation in diverse fields of Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Management and Pharmacy belongs to this renowned foundation.

To create learning environment which strives for excellence in Pharmacy practice and to develop Pharma graduates and people working in pharmaceutical sector through creation, utilization and dissemination of Pharma knowledge for better services to the society.
