About Institution

Pallavan Educational trust, kanchiapuram, started Pallavan Polytechnic College during the academic year 1986-87 with the approval of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in Go Ms No.1255, Educational Dept., Dated 3-9-86 & AICTE letter no.45-36/93-con(arch.)/B.III/8687., dated Oct.18, 1993.This Polytechnic College is located at Kolivakkam on the river bank of Palar at a distance of 8km from kanchipuram(on Kanchipuram to Vembakkam road).The College is memory of historical famous Pallava regime who ruled the Kanchimanagar. The college upholds the motto of uplifting the people who are living in the backward areas of Thiruvannamalai, vellore Thiruvallor and Kanchipuram District by providing more facilities and opportunities to undergo Technical Education in various fields which are currently most important for the development of our nation.

Mission

The Mission of the Pallavan Polytechnic College established in the year 1985, run by the Pallavan Educational Trust is to impart quality Technical Education to Secondary and Post-Secondary students, employing highly qualified, dedicated and resourceful faculty using well established and equipped infrastructure.It aims to offer beyond its mandate value added specialized courses and customized, need based, comprehensive skill training Program to unemployed rural youth in and around the Polytechnic, Industries, Business, Engineers, Technicians, Student Community and Society at least to improve their employability, enhance the carrier opportunities and HONE their personal capabilities.
