P.S. Degree College, Gaisilat is situated at Gaisilat block in the District of Bargarh, Odisha , in the middle point of Padampur and Loisingha state road. P.S. Degree College, Gaisilat was established in 1989 with the initiative of local people. The college has got Govt. Permission and concurrence in the year 1991. It is affiliated to Sambalpur University in the same year and has got the status of 2(F) and 12(B) from UGC in 2007. Our mission is providing quality higher education at an affordable price to the rural populace. Since then, it has never looked back in its commitment to provide quality education.
The College has grown in to a full-fledged degree College. It provides teaching facilities in Humanities. In Humanities, Honours teaching facilities are available in History, Political Science Sanskrit, Education and Oriya.
The main objective of the College is to inspire young minds into personalities capable of excelling in diverse fields and jobs. The College is marching towards fulfillment of its commitment. The College provides quality education and insists upon academic discipline. The College has created a reputation for having a peaceful and excellent study and learning environment.
