About Institution

Lions Clubs International, a World Wide Service organisation was started on 07.06.1917 at Hotel La Sallk in Chicago. USA, under the Secretaryship of Melvin Jones, with the intention to work together for Community and humanitarian Services. On this part, our Paramakudi Lions Club was started on June 1975 and doing Yeomen service to the Paramakdui and its surroundings. The club involves in various service activities , such as medical, educational, Eye donation, Help to weaker section, Polio eradication, leprosy eradication, eye and blood camps, rendering help to physically challenged persons etc. On taking Education development, our Club started a school on June 1991 in the name of "Lions English School" with 35 students and 4 teachers. Then it has been promoted as paramakudi Lions Matriculation school on 2001. Now It is upgraded as Paramakudi Lions matric.Hr.Sec School Since. 2007. The Excellent and Eminent Trustees of Paramakudi Lions Educational Trust run the School in a Successful way. Ln. Advocate G.Gopal - Chairman. Ln. Er. RM. Kannappan, MJF - Secretary Ln. M. Soundara nageshwaran - Treasurer and the Trustees of Paramakudi Lions Educational trust look after this Institution and make it as a full filled Infrastructural Educational Institution in Ramanathapuram District. Now our School is lead by the excellent, efficient, enthusiastic Nallasiriyar Smt. Parimala T.Antony M.A.,M.Ed., M.Phil and 40 full qualified teaching faculties and 30 non teaching staff members with their untired, dedicated services. Our school has got meritorius sucess in scholostic area. So far, the results of 10th and 12th " in Govt.Public Examination are 100% .Our School was the Eduational District First in 2011-12 ,12th Public Examination. Our Student S.Gayathri got 1156 out of 1200 in 12th Public Examination and awarded as the First ranker in Parmakudi Eduacational District. Regarding sports activities,Our students have achieved in sports & games ground like shuttle cock, carrom, chess, athletics, take-wanto, hand ball and Karate in District and Divisional Level. In Co-curriculam activities our students has won lot of Prizes in Tamil & English Elocutions, Essay writtings, lyrics writting, slogan preparing in district and state level.
