About Institution

The College of Pharmacy, Chincholi has started in 2006 is the institution under the technical education complex developed by the Pravara Rural Education Society.

The Society was established in 1964 by the Late Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Eknathrao Vikhe Patil, who was also the founder of the Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana.

The society has been registered both under the Societies Registration act 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.

The sister concern Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy has its origin in 1981-82 when Diploma in Pharmacy Course was established as one of the seven disciplines in Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Institute of Technology & Engineering (Polytechnic) at Pravaranagar by Hon’ble Shri. E. V. alias Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, Minister, Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Govt. of India to meet the demands of Pharmacist of this rural area.
