About Institution

The motto of the college is JAGVU DNYAN JYOT JANASAMANYANCHYA MANAMANAT meant for the systematic journey in specified direction from darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge, from negligence to efforts and from zero to infinity. This can be achieved by imparting value based education to the students. Parola is a Tehsil place in the Jalgaon district, a rural region situated 55 kms away from Jalgaon. Most of the peoples from this region belong to poor families and farmers. The children from such poor families do not afford the higher education at district place. Keeping this view in mind, our Hon’ble President Kakasaheb Adv. Vasantrao More, enlightened the lamp of education to serve the society by establishing this institution for higher education in science stream inb June 1992 and Arts stream in June 1993.The institution enjoys the distinct position of not only being the first science degree college in Tehsil region but also the first college to have been conferred with the B grade in academic year 2004 – 2005 by NAAC and more than 63 percents of faculties of whose are engaged in research. The village takes pride in its rich history and heritage of having underground Fort named as BHUIKOT KILLA, as well as the inspirational memory of RANI LAXMIBAI, the Queen of JHANSI. The college is named in the inspirational memory of the Queen. The village also takes pride of having the holy place for Lord Balaji as a Prati Tirupati, Tapovan, Shivdham, Nageshwar, etcS. S. P. MANDAL (TEHU) SANCHALIT RANI LAXMIBAI COLLEGE is the first college in Parola Tehsil to introduce the science stream as well as computer science in the region. Prof. B. V. Patil, Principal of the college underlined the need and encouraged for preparing the perspective plan for qualitative along with the quantitative improvement in college education by advancing the educational and infrastructural facilities in rural region, which may helps in creating the national and international standards in higher education.

Increase the women students from the village
Improve the quality and range of student support services
Initiate virtual class room, bridge courses and e-learning programmes in the campus
Enhance and strengthen the computer, e-learning and web based education
Involve the UG level students into research
To promote inter-disciplinary / multi-disciplinary knowledge, research, industry oriented research
Create the new infrastructural facilities viz. Separate research laboratories for Physics and Chemistry, e-learning section in library, special virtual class room, separate dark room for Physics, additional library reading section for staff and students, Special conference hall, guest house, recreation of sports centre, few lecture halls of large size, special cafeteria, additional sanitation, roof water harvesting plants, tree plantations, solar panels, etc.
Renovate the existing infrastructure viz. flooring, coloring, minor repairing, electrification, plumbing, sanitation, etc.

To arrange and organize the training and skill development activities for all teaching and non-teaching staff enabling them to develop their skills and abilities in rendering their present duties and ensure safe and effective work in future.
