About Institution

RJS Polytechnic was established in the year 1985 - 86 by Karnataka Reddy Jana Sangha under ED 60 MPI 84, dated : 06-10-1984. RJS Polytechnic started it's journey with humble beginning with Diploma in Commercial Practice. RJS Polytechnic has made great strides in the field of technical education right from it's inception in the year 1985-86. RJS Polytechnic is situated in a serene surrounding and located in koramangala, Bangalore-34. It is located in such a place that it is able to serve the cause of Students of both urban and rural areas of Bangalore in particular and the state of Karnataka and India in general.RJS Polytechnic is run by Karnataka Reddy Jana Sangha(KRJS) , a non-profit registered body, under self financing scheme and it consists of a galaxy of personalities from all walks of life. RJS Polytechnic is affiliated to the Directorate of Technical education, recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The affairs of RJS Polytechnic is managed by a constituted Governing Council By KRJS.

Vision

RJS Polytechnic was established upon the principles of clear vision, meticulous planning and dynamic professional leadership of KRJS. The vision of the RJS Polytechnic is as follows :

1. To become one of the best private polytechnics imparting value added, need based responsive technical education with a view to meet the challenges of Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization.

2. To attain self sustainability and overall development through consultancy Research and Developmental activities.

3. To contribute for positive productive and socio economic development of Karnataka state in particular and the nation in general.

4. To uplift the downtrodden and the rural folk through community services.

5. To undertake open organization climate strategic future oriented planning to the delight of stakeholders.

6. To be a recognized Polytechnic that nurtures talent and catalytically transforms the lives of thousands of students through excellence in teaching methodology.

7. To uphold a commitment in shaping the lives of student community through effective teaching and learning.

8.To contribute to an equitable and holistic transformation of student community at large.

Mission

RJS Polytechnic was established with the sole objective of transforming the bright minds into dynamic technicians/ technocrats in an environment where in the intellect and human values interact to bring out the best in every student. The Mission of the RJS Polytechnic is as follows :

1.To Impart quality based technical training both in formal and informal modes with a view cater to the needs of Sole Proprietorship Concerns, Factories, Industries, Other Business organizations and Communities at Large by accepting challenges of Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization through devoted and dedicated services.

2.To inculcate Discipline and to provide strong Leadership qualities in students so as to make them confident for meeting the challenges and also to shape them as a responsible citizens with a service of human touch.

3.To endeavor to maintain gender equity, clean, green and conducive environment in the campus.

4.To strive willingly for the overall development of rural community by means of transfer of technology to their doorsteps.
