About Institution

The Regional College of Higher Education (RCHE) established in the year 2007, promoted by ERD Foundation. RCHE offers 3 years undergraduate courses in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Business Administration, Computer Application, Electronics, & Social work. The College is affiliated to North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong under special provision of NCMEI Act of Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

Presently RCHE is housed in a temporary campus just 2 kms away from Dispur, the capital complex of Assam. The same shall be relocated to its own campus at 9th mile, Baridua, which shall also be the house to other future projects of ERDF. The trust has acquired 10 acres of land for permanent establishment of its campus.

Mission

To promote professional education in the field of Bio-Technology, Bio-chemistry Management, Applied Sciences, Social work & other emerging fields, and to conduct cutting edge research on Science, Technology & Socity to make the College a CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE. Our efforts are on for establishing quality R&D lab for tissue culture & Food Processing technology, based on natural varieties available in the N.E. Region.
