The chain of D.A.V. Institutions set up in the memory of the great saint, reformer & founder of Arya Samaj, Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati is kept aloft admirably by the illustrious personalities like Sh. Poonam Suri Ji, President, D.A.V. College Managing Committee, Sh. R.S. Sharma Ji, General Secretary, D.A.V. C.M.C. & other doyens of D.A.V. Under their wise guidance, our institute have maintained a glorious record of national service of providing education to the students and social service to the society.To impart quality education to the students of this backward town, the initiative was taken up by the Galhotra family to open the school in the sacred memory of the pious lady Smt. Raj Karni Galhotra wife of late Sh. Sohan Lal Galhotra. The first academic session of this school started in April 1989 in a beautiful constructed building with app. 200 students on its rolls. The school is affiliated to C.B.S.E. New Delhi up to Sr. Sec. level. It is directly managed by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. At present, school can boast of being one of the best schools of this area with remarkable achievements in every field with app. Strength of 1200 students.
