About Institution

Education is an instrument of human development. It brings light to man and thus elevates the quality of human society. Since ancient times, education has been given an exalted position in society. Keeping in view the long cherished demand of people, Seth Makhan Lal Ji, Founder President along with other distinguished persons of the area established a society in the name of Rashtriya Vidya Samiti(Regd.). By the rigorous efforts of the society Radha Krishan Sanatan Dharam College was established in 1954 to cater to the needs of higher education in this area which has become a commercial hub at that time. Earlier it was started as an intermediate college but as times passes it became a major centre of higher education with various post and under graduate level degree courses of traditional, cocational and professional education to its credit. In due course, various other institutions like R.K.S.D.(Evening Session) College, R.K.S.D. Sen. Sec. School, R.K.S.D. College of Pharmacy became the members of R.K.S.D. family.
