Sacred Heart Hospital, Maqsudan, Jalandhar is a Christian institution run and managed by the Jyothi Province of Sacred Congregation, a registered religious and charitable trust. It was established in 1985 to meet the long felt need of the people of Jalandhar and surrounding districts for a multispeciality hospital. The underlying philosophy of Sacred Heart Hospital is to give witness to the compassionate love of Lord Jesus Christ through selfless and dedicated service to the sick and suffering people irrespective of their caste, colour, creed or their economic condition. No patient who sought medical aid from Sacred Heart Hospital has ever been turned away because he or she could not afford it.
