Support for Autistic Individuals (SAI Connections) is India's first Autism (Centre)which provides services based on Relationship Development Intervention(RDI).SAI Connections is a centre which provides state of the art educationfor the students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). A very important component of it is Parent Training.All the programs and trainings are supervised by the director of SAI Connections, Mrs Kamini Lakhani who is BCaBA, RDI Consultant, Supervisor and Trainer.SAI was started on February 22nd, 2004.All children admitted to SAI Connections have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.At present we are providing RDI services. Every parent is enrolled on the RDI program and all teachers are also trained in the RDI techniques.The RDI Community Platform is a platform where all the parents and teachers interact with each other and the RDI Consultant - Mrs Kamini Lakhani,Mohit & Kamini Lakhani - Support for Autistic Individuals (SAI)A comprehensive program based on Dynamic Intelligence is implemented under the guidance of the consultant. The Dynamic Intelligence program is formulated by Dr. Gutstein and Dr. Sheely, RDI Connect.Weekly videos submitted by parents and teachers are reviewed by our RDI Consultants. Some of our students are on RFT program. This is monitored by Senior Behavior Analyst - Siri Ming. Individual Behavior Plans are formulated as needed by Mrs. Kamini Lakhani (BCaBA)and monitored by Siri Ming. At present we provide RDI services to 25 students. Our team comprises of 11 teachers and 3 administrative staff and a group of dedicated volunteers.
