About Institution

Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya was started in 1988-89. Affiliated to M.D. University, Rohtak, the college is beging run by a progressive socity Saraswati Education Society (Regd.) which s commited to provideing high quality education to the young girls of the area. It is running various other educational institutions also keeping in mind the educational requirements of the area. With the determination, sustained efforts and committment of Sh. Lakhan Pal Mangla (Advocate), the founder of the college and the Chairman of Supreme Body, late Sh. Mool Chand Mangla (Ex.MLA), Late Sh. Mohan Lal Mittal (Secretary), Sh Lal Chand. The Foundation stone of the college was laid on 2nd October, 1984 and since 1988-89 the college has been imparting quality education successfully and making its mark in women education in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Science and Management upto graduation level. At PG level four courses mainly M.A. Pol.Sc., M.A. English, M.Sc. Physics and M. Com. are being offered to students.
