About Institution

The Sanatan Dharam College of Pharmacy at Barnala, Punjab is imparting higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences is the first Institute of its kind in city. It was established in year 1985 with D. Pharmacy course. Later B.Pharmacy (2001) and M.Pharmacy Pharmacognosy: (2008). Pharmacy courses were established with a vision to develop educated and learned pharmacists to cater the needs of health care system of the country. Institute is approved by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar (Punjab), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New-Delhi (India).

The pharmaceutical field had made revolutionary progress throughout the globe. It is a vital field since it is concerned with the healthcare which is a matter of life & death for human beings. Ethical code of conduct is a must in every walk of life but professional ethics in field of pharmaceutical profession is absolute must. To ensure the quality assurance of the drugs & continued research to promote the manufacture of new drugs is a sacred duty of pharmacist.
