While concentrating on the exciting leading edge endeavours such as Information Technology and Computer Science, which have significant impact on a curriculum for the future, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Faculty members maintain a strong value for the tenets of a traditional, time-honoured education.

Our schools and colleges provide opportunities for undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education, all influenced by Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul distinctive interdisciplinary approach to learning with spiritual atmosphere. Here in Gurukul we do not train children to learn by force and harshness, but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that we may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each.

The art of debating and public speaking, the study of classical as well as modern literature, and dynamic programmes in Art and Music are fundamental components of our curriculum. And we do not neglect the importance of Sports and Physical Education. We understand the importance of a well-rounded education as the bedrock of an education which provides the diversity of choices students will make as they continue on their educational and career paths.
