About Institution

The institute which began as Goverment polytechnic in 1961 & later on known as Shri Krishanalal Jhaveri Polytechnic.It was started to award Diploma in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engg. only in beginning. It is situated on Bharuch City old Highway No-8 road at a distance of 1.5 K.M. from the Bus Stand & 1 K.m. from the Railway Station. The institution is spread over a land area around 25 acres. The Diploma in computer Aided costume design and dress making was introduced specially for Girls in 1991. After establishment of very large fertilizer plant of G.N.F.C and Asia's biggest G.I.D.C having majority of chemical industries to cater to the man power needs of theses industries a diploma course in chemical Engg. was introduced in 1982.
