In the annals of Maharashtra's tradition & history , goddess Shri Tulja Bhavani occupies unique position . She is the divine patroness of the state of Maharashtra (Kulswamini the family deity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj). She is worshipped by millions of devotees, who visit Tuljapur every year to seek her blessings. The temple & its estates are managed by a trust, headed by the Collector & Dist. Magistrate, Osmanabad. Inspired by the lofty ideals of social service as a means of overall development of the region, the trust has choosen the feild of technical education & started Shri. Tulja Bhavani College of Engineering on 19th September 1983. The trust also runs Vridhashram & Sainiki Vidyalaya, which is need of the day & this region.
