The Sivakasi Institute of Printing Technology is nurtured by the Printing industries in Sivakasi. As rightly called “Kutti Japan” the busy town has its special place in the Indian map as a print city. Established in the year 1977, SIPT is a full-fledged polytechnic involved in honing the skills of the down trodden youth in and around Sivakasi. The sprawling campus consists of 23.53 acres with well appointed infrastructure.
The aim of the college is to prepare students for the world of work, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will lead them to satisfying and rewarding careers and further the education of rural youth.
