About Institution

SMRJ Govt. College, Siwani is one of the leading co-educational colleges situated in Rural area. It was founded by Seth Megh Raj Jindal, an eminent Industrialist & Social Worker. The college came into existence in 1998 and has been providing education under-graduate courses in Arts and Commerce. It is affiliated to M. D. University, Rohtak. The College is situated in the Lap of Nature & the lush green campus of the college is spread over 14 acre of land. It has a big and spacious library, girls common room, staff room, two computer labs, and play grounds for football, hand ball, basketball, badminton, volley ball etc. for the all-round development of personality of the students. It is a matter of great pride and honour that during the last fifteen years this multi-faculty co-educational institution has made a remarkable headway not only in the field of academics but also registered its outstanding presence in the domain of sports, cultural activities, NSS, and in various other fields at State & National Level. A number of students of this college have been serving at national level at various positions in public and private sectors. Most of the Students are from villages of Haryana as well as Rajasthan and existing Teacher student ratio is 1:50 in the session 2012-2013.
