Welcome to Smt. Sadguna C. U. Arts College for Girls, a premier institution for the Arts faculty in the heart of the city of Ahmedabad. The name “SADGUNA” means Sanskaras. The main Sanskaras are defined in Vedas and they are Aspiration, Determination, Global Attitude, Upliftment, Nationality and Advancement. Smt. Sadguna C. U. Arts College for Girls has been in existence for the last 48 years with its goal centered around women’s progress in educational, social and cultural fields. It was established in the year 1966 at a time when establishing a girls’ college was considered a path breaking venture. There is a recognition that to take on tomorrow we have to make it a ‘better today’. At Sadguna college, we believe that education does not lie in the quantification of knowledge as much as it lies in the quality of knowledge that helps define the character of students, formatting them into competent, committed and compassionate women for a proud, learned, hard-working, compassionate India!
