Sri Belimatha Mahasamsthana Institute of Technology (SBMSIT) was established in 1997 under the flagship of Sri Belimatha Maha Samsthana Socio Cultural and Education Trust.
The Belimatha Trust was established in 1975 by Sree Sree Charamurthy Shivarudra Mahaswamiji.SBMSIT Bangalore is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by AICTE New Delhi.
In the beginning, SBMSIT was affiliated to Bangalore University, but since 1998 it is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technology University (VTU). The institute provides a number of modern facilities within its sprawling campus.
The College has all fully equipped laboratories, well-stacked library, workshops and spacious furnished classrooms. The college buildings are architecturally designed meeting functional needs of classrooms, Computer and Electronics Laboratory Library and workshops.
Our Vision is to make a pace setting Institution to prepare future engineers to compete with global challenge, to become future leaders and entrepreneurs.
