The college campus has been created in the rural area of Tirunelveli District in Moolaikaraipatti of Nanguneri Taluk and established as per the approval given by AICTE and Tamilnadu Government to conduct the engineering diploma courses. Institution has introduced employment oriented diploma courses under the affiliation of Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and offers best modern educational system with the latest facilities to enable the students to face the rapid changes in modern technology and potentially oriented industries. Presently, 600 students are on its roll from southern districts of Tamilnadu particularly from the rural sector to pursue their academic careers.
The mission is to impart technical education with knowledge dissemination in focus and to offer high level capacity building, skill enablement with social and human values and also strive forward to provide urban amenities in rural area (PURA) as envisaged by Dr. Kalam.
