About Institution

Sri Sakthi Polytechnic College was established in the academic year 2009-2010. It is part of Sri Selvanarayana Reddiar Educational Trust administered by philanthropic minded individuals with long-term vision of imparting quality technical education to the skilled but unexposed rural students of Tiruvannamalai District. The core management and advisory committee consists of well-educated and motivated individuals, majority of whom are living in United States.

Sri Sakthi Polytechnic College is located off Pondicherry – Bangalore National Highway near Chengam on the banks of Cheyyar River overlooking lush and serene greenery and mountains. Strategic location provides students with a hustle and bustle free atmosphere away from urban area. Sri Sakthi Polytechnic College is situated at a sprawling 7.5 acres of farmland surrounding area. The main building and state of the art workshop buildings consists of spacious classrooms and laboratory built with modern civil engineering technologies. Total area of the main college building and workshop building is 90,000 sq.ft. Assisted by well-qualified and enthusiastic teaching staff, the students have the opportunity to learn the technology and hone their technical skills. It is needless to say that rural students outperform in technical skills than their counterparts from urban areas.
