About Institution

1. The Institute is situated at Parihaspora (Diver) 20 Kms away from Srinagar City.

2. The Institute is presently imparting Technical education at Degree level in the branches of Civil, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical and Electronics & Communication Engineering and two post-graduate courses of MCA and MBA besides UG course of BBA.
Further Six Diploma Courses of Engineering are being imparted in the Polytechnic wing of the Campus.

3. SSM College of Engineering is the only Engineering Institute in the Kashmir Valley imparting Technical education at Degree level.

4. It possesses an advantage of being in a rural area situated in the vicinity of Cities & Towns like Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam assuming a centrally located place.

5. The Institute possesses an ideal infrastructure with all facilities of teaching/learning etc.
