St. John's School is a recognised, unaided minority English Medium School (ENo. 1666 OF 2006-16928) established by The Catholic Diocese of Lucknow, a charitable and registered society registered under the Societies Registered Act XXI, 1860 on 24th Nov.1947 and administered through its Catholic Education Society which was duly registered on 4th April 1989 No. 197, 1989-1990. St. John's School, founded in the year 1977 was established by the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow with the object of imparting modem education primarily to the Catholics in a manner that would conserve their Religion, Language, Scripture and Culture but is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste, race, language and community.
The school is situated in the centre Gola, Kheri District, with its spacious, open and well maintained compound and is therefore, an ideal institution for parents/guardians to educate their children. Equipped as it with the modem laboratories, spacious classrooms, library, extensive playground, basketball and volley ball courts, the school can be favourably compared with any reputed educational institution of Uttar Pradesh.
Though the medium of instruction and examination is English, the school gives equal importance in all co-curricular activities, to Hindi by debates, elocution declamation and by allotting sufficient hours of instruction to Hindi subject. It also endeavours to insist school education and activities contributing to India's cultural heritage, part of National mainstream of life and develop students as scholars, gentlemen and responsible citizens of India. Above all it strives to inculate into its pupils the value of freedom and its judicious use, respect for law and order and sense of duty so as to enable them to fulfil a noble role in life.
It aims at the integral and all round formation of young boys and girls by giving them an education which is morally, physically and mentally sound. In keeping with the national aspirations, it helps the students to become mature, spiritually oriented and worthy citizens of India.
