About Institution

The aim of providing higher education led Dnyandeep Mandal to initiate St. Joseph Degree college, on 25th Aug 1995. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and is recognized by UGC. Presently college has F.Y.J.C, S.Y.J.C. (Arts & Commmerce) B.A, B.Com., M.A.(Economics), M.A.(Marathi), M.Com.(Accountancy) courses. To stay in tune with the objectives of the University and to provide specialization in the unconventional subjects, we have opted to conduct several self-financed courses in our college. We have BMS, Banking and Insurance. College is accredited with 'B' grade by NAAC. The objective of the Institute is to cater higher education to the poorer and less privileged section of the society, it also aim to create holistic character development of the students through which students may become a versatile personality and able to face the challenges of the world. the sucess of St. Joseph College is attributed to many factors. Positive attitude of the management, young, energetic and enthusiastic staff, regular interaction with parents etc. has let the institute to maintain discipline and to produce consistently higher results in last 16 years.
