SUBHASH INSTITUTUTE OF SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY was established in 1999 by the Subhash Group of Institutions. It is affiliated to UPTU and approved by AICTE and has the code of 121. Currently it has the MBA and MCA courses.

SIST was started in 1999 by the Chairman Shri Ram Lakhan Bhatt who is a recipient of the Presidents award and the Managing Director, Dr Sunil Bhatt. The Director of Academics is currently Shri Joyon Majjumdar who has done his graduation in Commerce from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (Delhi University) and his management in marketing and HR from XLRI (one of the four premier management institutes in India)SIST was started in 1999 by the Chairman Shri Ram Lakhan Bhatt who is a recipient of the Presidents award and the Managing Director, Dr Sunil Bhatt. The institute has a well equipped computer laboratory, a Seminar Hall, a sprawling auditorium, playing fields and canteen. Teaching is done through normal methods as well as using projectors and OHP for showing effective teaching methods and graphics and charts.

The MBA department is headed by Mrs Anjly Pandey (MBA in HR) and supported by Ms Divya Sahu (MPHIL), Sandeep Srivastava (MBA Finance), Mr Ashish Srivastava (MBA, MPHIL) and Ms Monica Nigam (MBA in HR). The MCA department is headed by Mr Pushker Pandey (MTECH), Mrs Suneeta Mishra (MTECH), Mr Shiv Rathore (MTECH) and Mr Rohit Bhatt (MCA)

The institute provides hostel facilities for boys and girls with adequate security. Bus facility is available at nominal cost from Mall Road (Bada Chouraha) to the college.
