SPS a co- educational ‘day cum residential’ public school is situated in a small town named Shashikhal in Sult Block of Almora District in Uttarakhand. Established in the year 2005 the school endeavours to ‘make a difference to your childs life. With rapid changes in lifestyles among todays Indians, it is important to strike a balance between age-old traditions and modern day outlook. It aspires to produce a citizen who is abreast with the changing times, and yet rooted to our precious value system. SPS boasts a lush green landscape in the foothills of the mighty Himalayas. Far from the noisy, polluted, and populated cities the schools is established at a very peaceful environment which is cool, green, clean, healthy and hygienic. The pleasant environment would keep your children happy, healthy & energetic.

The school is a vision of our Patron - Mr. Ranjeet Singh Rawat (MLA Sult, Uttarakhand), who felt a deep need of quality education in his constituency so that the local people do not have to migrate towards the cities in search of quality education for their children. Since the inception of the school in 2005 it has been continuously providing quality education to its students and as a result in the year 2008 the school was awarded with provisional affiliation by the CBSE for up to standard 10th. The school now also offers boarding facilities.

With the current reforms in the CBSE curriculum and as well as the educational system of India, SPS as an advocate of the change wishes to continuously improve its teaching tools and techniques in alignment with the changes and would certainly rise up to the expectations of its stakeholders. The school has a comprehensive academic framework in alignment with the CCE (Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation) with a focus on the overall development of a student.

The primary objective of the school is to foster values of life in the childs training programme at all levels, ensuring the promotion of rich Indian values.SPS strives to be known for its excellence in teaching and boarding facilities, by providing students with highest quality teaching facilities required for a comprehensive learning and out bringing of the hidden talents of its students.
