About Institution

SVCP, besides preparing its students to enter into the noble profession of Pharmacy, is developing professionals for the fast growing Pharmaceutical industry as well as for Pharmaceutical research. The institution is well equipped with well lit lecture halls, library, laboratories and amenities. The college infrastructure and faculty are as per PCI/AICTE norms. Laboratories are fully equipped with instruments including UV spectrophotometer, digital balances, rota vapor, Karl Fischer apparatus, tablet punching and coating machine, ampoule filling and sealing machine, hydraulic bench, BOD incubator, laminar air flow and sigma blade mixer etc. We have digitalized library with about 5000 books. We use over 750 chemicals and drugs in our B. Pharmacy laboratories. The institution has been known for its academic excellence in University examinations with good number of merit positions and students qualifying GATE 2009. SVCP recently organized National Conference on "Advances in Pharmaceutical Technology & Drug Research”. SVCP has a fully functional training and placement cell having tie ups with reputed companies like Ranbaxy, Panacea Biotec, Torrent, Cipla, Piramal and Cadila etc.
