Thakur Dharam Singh (T.D.S) College of Education is located in the heart of Kathua city in Ward No: 9 at old Bus stand Kathua. It was established in the year 2003- 2004, with affiliation to the University of Jammu. It has the privilege of its location on main road side at a distance of 85 kms from the University Campus towards Punjab and at a distance of 24 km from Pathankot (Punjab). It is at the gate way of J&K state. The area of the college is quite free from any kind of pollution and distraction. It is unique in respect of pollution and distraction. It is unique in respect of its proximity to neighbouring states like Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Rajasthan etc. The students from these states, women, in particular, are almost under the umbrella of their parents for their close watch and care of their parents. Moreover, it is a lush green campus all around with natural beauty.
