The Edinburgh Drawing School

About Institution

The Edinburgh Drawing School was founded by Fiona McCrindle, BSc hons, BA hons, PGdip, MFA, in March 2002. Fiona is a professional artist and experienced gallery director.
The School grew out of a concern that many of the Art Schools in Scotland are seeing their traditional skill-base decline, with the reduction or even removal of drawing, particularly life-drawing, from the curriculum of fine art courses.
