Doon University aims to be the premier institution of learning in India by promoting excellence in teaching and research. Established by the Government of Uttarakhand (Uttaranchal Adhiniyam Sankhaya 18 of 2005).Also, recognized and enlisted under UGC Section 2(f) and 12(b). The university recognizes its stakeholders beyond its boundaries.

Vision

In accordance with the provision in Section 5(1) of the Act, Doon University shall become a Centre of Excellence in the chosen areas of studies, and shall carry out research for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge. Such an effort shall be benchmarked with the best in the country and globally.
