About University

Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU), Gandhinagar was established in 2008 by the government of Gujarat, under the flagship of home department government of Gujarat state. It is the only university across the world, dedicated to Forensic and Investigative Science. The University started functioning from July 2009 onwards and in May 2011, received recognition by the 'University Grants Commission'; as a State University.
