Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pawapuri, Nalanda, Bihar, is a Government Medical College, started in the year 2013, under the initiation of our Honourable Chief Minister, Shri. Nitish Kumar, whose unrelenting efforts have made it possible for the College?s foundation stone to be laid, paying testimony to his dynamism dedication. It?s foundation stone was laid on April/May,2010. The college is situated at Pawapuri, just next to the sacred temple , popularly known as ? Jal Mandir?, dedicated to the 24th disciple of Lord Mahavir, where he attained ? Nirvana?
