About Institution

VVIT was established in the year 2007, under Social Educational Trust in Nambur village, Pedakakani mandal of Guntur district by Sri. Vasireddy Vidya Sagar the eldest son of Late Sri Vasireddy Appa Rao. He is basically interested in providing Computer Education services, Medical Transcription and ISP services. Every year over 1,50,000 school children are provided computer Education under Social Computers a firm run by Mr. Vidya Sagar along with Mr. M. S. Krishna. VVIT has self contained infrastructure located amidst the lush greenery of paddy and maize fields of Nambur located strategically between Guntur and Vijayawada. There are 4 academic blocks one each for the four disciplines of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications and Information Technology surrounding a main block that houses the department of Sciences and Humanities, the digital and the common libraries, seminar and conference halls, chambers of the chairman, the director and the principal and the administrative office. Each academic block has its own modern up-to-date computer lab along side the state-of-the-art departmental laboratories. An open air theatre of 1000 seats situated in the southern part of the campus between CSE and EEE blocks presents a platform for the state level annual cultural festival with a participation of over 50 engineering colleges. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, the institute has set a benchmark in providing its students the very best in terms of infrastructure and faculty. Absolute Discipline, Air-conditioned classrooms, multimodal teaching methodology, campus placement training, caring teachers, committed support staff, proactive managing committee, vigilant security, homely women’s hostel, a dedicated' canteen, a fleet of buses, a mineral water plant, indoor sports arena and outdoor grounds make VVIT a uniquely different professional college in this region.
