The Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society's Polytechnic Badnera (Amravati) was established under the able chairmanship of late Prof. Ram Meghe in 1985 for education in the field of Engineering and Technology. It is located at just 2 kms from Badnera railway junction. The campus of the institution is abjacent to the college of Engineering, Badnera, governed by the same society. It has certain locational advantages. Badnera, a township in Amravati Corporation is a junction of central railway on Mumbai-Nagpur-Kolkata line. This institution is recognised by the Govt. of Maharashtra and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
