About Institution

Vidya Jyoti College of Pharmacy is situated in an area of 5 acres of land with 3 Acres exclusively earmarked for Pharmacy College in lush green surroundings that provide a clear, open and pollution free academic environment. The institute offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharmacy). This institute is going to become one of its own kinds in imparting the liberal education (intellectual, moral and physical) of international standards with a view towards all-round development of the students; to promote professional education in the field of nursing at Diploma level and to cater to the needs of the people of state and country at large. The institute plans to further introduce courses in advanced and specialized nursing. This is an important landmark in the history of this rural and historical belt of Sangrur district, as these educational activities will lead to better health services and quality patient care.

This institute has a very magnificent and centrally air-conditioned building with spacious class rooms, well equipped science labs, demonstration rooms, etc. All the laboratories are well equipped as per AICTE, PCI norms. The students are imparted Community Health Training in both rural and urban areas. Clinical Training is given to students in its own 350 bedded hospital
