V.R. Institute of Post-Graduate Studies affiliated to S.V. University, Tirupathi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The college was ushered into existence in August 1994 to cater the long felt need of the region for computer education at PG Level. The college started with MCA with an intake of 30 students. Later in the year 1995 MBA course was introduced with an intake of 30 students. Located in the heart of the town, it has got easy access to Train/Bus facility. The college is sorrounded by no. of Hostels both for men and women.
