About Institution

V.S.M College was established in the year 1966 and is one of the pioneer college in Ramachandrapuram. The college was founded by late Sri Vundavilli Satyanarayana Murthy in 1966, is one of the illustrious institutions in the state. The College had its humble begining with P.U.C.., B.A.,B.Com., and B.Sc., courses. The College has eleven P.G. Courses besides other U.G. Courses. The college is situated in the midst of mango-groves and pastoral greenary with 14 acres of land reflecting the beauty and serenity of Tagore's Shantiniketan. The magnificient buildings and the beautiful garden with floral invitation attract the inmates and on-lookers. The college offering a number of extension lectures by experts from different Universities/Institutions to develop the analytical skills of the students. The College has a well established PG library with a big reading hall and an Open Access System. There are 16099 texts, lending and reference books with about 8,700 titles and it subscribes 60 Indian and Foreign Journals, 38 Magazines and 8 News Papers. The institute has well organized training and placement cell.
