Women's Institute of Technology, Darbhanga is a renowned institution in science and technology. The Institute was established under self financing scheme in 2004. Women's Institute of Technology is situated in the heart of Darbhanga city and is well connected by rail and road ways from all parts of India. WIT is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi, Ministry of HRD, and Science and Technology, Government of Bihar. It is affiliated to Lalith Narayan Mithila University. There mission is to achieve excellence in education, entrepreneurship and innovation by producing world class skilled women technocrats tuned to the demands of a fast changing global world of information technology.
