About Institution

This August Institution was founded by Lt. Raibahadur Nimai Charan Bose and Lt. Mian Munshi Sk.Abdul Gani .The age old institution,Bhadrak High School subsequently named as, "ZILLA SCHOOL,BHADRAK" stands as a premier institution in the Bhadrak district.It was established in the year 1882 when there was no other educational institution in the secondary level in the Bhadrak district. Because of its standard of teaching it could attract the students from different corners of the state.Here needs a mention that the renowned educationist of our state late Satrughna Nath was a student of this institution,who by virtue of his extraordinary wit stood first in the Patna University,which was controlling the then secondary examination system of three states,i.e Bengal , Bihar & Orissa. Since the begining, the institution has been able to cater to the educational need of the students of various corners of the state.
