Fundamentals Of Botany

The book has been written in accordance with the new revised syllabus of F.Y.B.Sc in the subject of Botany of the University of Mumbai, which has been introduced from the academic year 2011-12 onwards.We have made our best efforts to present the subject matter in a simple form so that the students can understand the fundamentals of the subject. Illustrative diagrams, tables and simplified explanations have been included to make the learning process enjoyable for readers.Every chapter is well equipped with long, short and multiple choice questions to assess the comprehension of students. We hope that the book will be appreciated by students as well as teachers.We have tried to make the book interesting through lucid presentations. We have attempted to provide basic, concise and in depth information. However, the students are encouraged to use reference books. A few of them are mentioned in the bibliography. We are always open to suggestions and comments to improve the book.
