In this book an attempts have been made to sketch the historical, ideological, strategic development of the Maoist movement in India and reviews their journey from Naxalbari to Dantewada. It also traces the circumstances due to which the Maoist movement entrenched itself in about 10 states of India, carrying out deadly attacks against the Indian establishment in the name of the poor and the marginalized. It offers rare insight into the lives of Maoist guerillas and also of the tribals living in the Red zone. Hope this book will be helpful to understand the basic problem of the Maoist movement and find out proper solution.
