Prague Summer Schools (PSS) are organized by the SCHOLA EMPIRICA, Prague based NGO and Educational Institution accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
SCHOLA EMPIRICA is an independent, non-political and non-profit organization. It was established in 2003 to support social policy innovations in the Czech Republic. SCHOLA provides platform for Czech and international experts to carry out research in various areas leading to innovative policy solutions. The aim of the SCHOLA is also to contribute to the international discussion of economic, social and security issues.
Besides the international Summer Schools, the main activities of SCHOLA are also focused on the preparation and implementation of various educational projects related to social integration of children and youth.
Our mission is to bring about the efficient and innovative policy solutions. SCHOLA EMPIRICA provides analysis and alternative solutions on a wide spectrum of public policies in the Czech Republic in order to improve the governance of public matters and resources.
